DTN COMMENTS:  Just a few cleanup deals have been reported so far today in 
parts of Kansas and Nebraska following yesterday's business where trade 
was marked at $228, in the South, $3 lower than last week's weighted 
averages. 
Northern dressed sales had a range of $346 to $355, mostly $351, $8 below 
last week's weighted average, basis Nebraska. It is looking like the bulk 
of business is essentially completed for the week, but a little more 
cleanup here and there is not out of the question. Asking prices for 
cattle left on showlists are around $228 to $230 in the South, and $351-
plus in the North. 

Beef cutouts are lower at midday (choice 370.68 -2.89, select 354.53 -
0.50) with moderate to good box movement (73.36 lds of choice cuts, 8.21 
lds of select cuts, 4.16 lds of trim, and 12.82 lds of ground). Live 
cattle futures are mostly sharply higher, while feeder issues are sharply 
higher near the top of the noon hour.
